Bounds Architecture Studio is managed by A. Allen Bounds III, RA, who co-founded the company in 2003 under the name MAD Architects. Allen is a hands-on leader with a diverse portfolio including management and design of large-scale condominium developments, hospitality, educational, commercial buildings, entertainment complexes and high-end residential.
Allen graduated from Mississippi State University in 1998 with a professional Bachelor of Architecture degree. Following graduation, he began his professional career with Pegram Associates in Myrtle Beach, S.C. He is licensed in Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina and Tennessee. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional through the U.S. Green Building Council.
A 10-year resident of Pensacola, Allen is very active in professional and community organizations. He has served as president of the Coastal Conservation Association and holds leadership positions in many other local organizations.
