Under Construction - South Face

The owner's original house was severely flooded during the 2004 Hurricane season, therefore the intention was to provide a living space high enough to reduce the likelihood of flooding and strong enough to reduce the likelihood of other storm damage. Because of poor soil conditions, pilings were not a feasible option and the site had to be surcharged.
